Rooftop bar at Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills
A rooftop bar is at Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills. It is fifty-two floors above the ground. The view from it is fantastic. You would be forgiven for thinking it looks like something out of Blade Runner. Enjoy a drink from a lounge to put you on top of the world.
Spinners from the movie would complete the scene. Maybe I could add them using Photoshop. Then it would look exactly like a scene from the film. But would we need to make it look a little dirtier too? The Harrison Ford world was gritty.
Seriously, though, I wonder what it’ll look like in the future. What changes will occur? Actually, it wasn’t so long ago that some buildings in this picture weren’t there. Nittele Tower, which houses Nippon Television, was only finished in 2003. The skyline will change as Tokyo changes.
The rooftop bar is in Toranomon, the heart of Tokyo’s business areas. Nagatacho, where the government lies, isn’t far away. That makes this bar the best place to keep an eye on things. You can do it in complete comfort at Andaz.
The Rooftop Bar Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills view
The photos tell it all. Well, they tell most of the story. You can see Shinbashi and some of Tokyo Bay. At night, they look spectacular. It looks like a scene from Blade Runner.
You need to move around the floor to get the 360° view. That wasn’t possible when I went because of an event. I didn’t have an invitation to it. That meant I couldn’t see Tokyo Tower.
