61st All Japan Model & Hobby Show 2023
The 61st All Japan Model & Hobby Show 2023 was great. It continued on from 2022 with impressive displays. But they were improved in some areas. And while it took up only Tokyo Big Sights’ South Halls one and two, so much stuff was packed in. The event was a hobbyist’s dream.
Anything they wanted was there. And if it wasn’t, I bet someone could get it. Many specialist shops and creators could satisfy your every hobby desire.

Photography at this event
- It is an exercise in patience. Because there are so many people, you often need to wait for the person ahead of you to get their shot and move on.
- Glare is a problem. With many display cases and shiny surfaces, light bounces everywhere. Keep moving your camera around until it’s manageable.
Conclusion
I enjoyed my day at the 61st All Japan Model & Hobby Show 2023. It was great. Even Godzilla and the Back to the Future car were there. I just wish I had the space in my apartment to take up a new hobby!
Hobbyists in Japan should visit the All Japan Model and Hobby Show in 2024. It’ll be at Tokyo Big Site again, and the entry fee is very reasonable. I can’t wait to go back.
